Terms and Conditions:

Please ensure that you read the following information carefully, prior to booking any treatment with us.

Cancellation Policy

We appreciate life can be very busy and hence we try to be as reasonable as possible .We require 24 hours cancelation notice for your session. We have to strictly apply this as if notice is not given we do not have sufficient time to re-allocate your appointment to another patient.

Unfortunately we do have to charge for all missed appointments or late notice cancellations.

Payment policy

The treatment Fee is payable at the end of each session, and we are happy to accept payment by cash or credit/debit card.

Private Health Insurance

Ellie Physiotherapy & Wellness  is recognised by all major Private Health Insurance Providers and we would be grateful if you made sure prior to treatment that you will be covered for Physiotherapy. At the time of payment, we will provide you with an invoice with all the details you will need to be reimbursed by your Insurance Company.

Discounts and special offers

Discount packages must be paid in advance .They expire after a 12-month period from the date of purchase.

Our special offer Refer a friend is not valid on any discounted treatments and expires after a 6 month period from date of referral.

Physiotherapy should relieve your symptoms, however, certain treatments may at first make your pain worse for a short time before it gets better.  Soreness later the same day or the following day it’s not uncommon.

It is important we ensure that treatment is safe and appropriate for you. Please inform the Physiotherapist of any previous or underlying medical history you have including any implants, or pacemakers and the medications that you are taking. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that she or he provide Ellie Physiotherapy &Wellness with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. Ellie Physiotherapy &Wellness will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.

 Throughout the program, should you have concerns or questions about any recommended treatment, you must inform the Physiotherapist immediately so rationale for treatment and/or adjustments to your treatment can be made. It is your responsibility to participate in all aspects of the program as it is imperative to its success. 

Bruising can develop after Deep Tissue Massage, which we  sometimes  use during our treatments. Please inform your therapist about any pre-existing conditions(or simply your ability to bruise easily)and it should be discussed prior to any treatments.

We collect data to assist in the administration of our businesses to provide you with an effective service. We would like to use your contact details to assist with the administration of your appointments/changes to scheduled appointments and/or reminders about appointments. To further enhance our service to you, we would like to be able to update you on any information regarding the practice.

We collect certain data from you to meet mandatory requirements regarding medical notes. 

There is a legal requirement to keep medical notes for a period of time after treatment. 

We take your privacy seriously and will take all reasonable steps to ensure the protection if your data. Please note that your right to be forgotten cannot override the legal requirements to keep medical notes for the mandatory periods. 

You have the legal right to access information held about you by  Ellie Physiotherapy and Wellness, should you wish to obtain this information ,please contact us directly by email at info@elliephysiotherapy.co.uk to request a copy of your records. There will be an applicable, administrative charge of £25.

Invoice for treatment can be provided free of charge.

Improving our Service 

Our patient’s experience is very important to us. We value your opinion and we welcome any comments and suggestions on how we can improve our service to our patients.

Complaints Procedure

We aim to provide the best service and care for all of our patients and we take patient’s complaints very seriously. If for any reason you are not satisfied with our care or service, please let us know at the time of your appointment, so we can listen to you and resolve the situation in a fair and honest way.

If you do not feel comfortable doing this, please email us at info@elliephysiotherapy.co.uk and our manager will get back to you as soon as possible to acknowledge the receipt of your complaint. Thereafter, we will investigate your complaint and when the investigation has been completed you will be invited in writing to attend a meeting to discuss the results of it and any practical solutions that can be offer to you. 

As much as we wish to respond to any form of enquiries within 14 working days, unfortunately due to the large volume of emails we receive, this may take a bit longer.

We appreciate your patience and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Limitation of Liability 
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Ellie Physiotherapy &Wellness will be liable for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages whatsoever(including, but not limited to loss of data or other information, personal injury, loss of privacy arising out of, or in any way related to the use of or inability to use the Service, third-party software/hardware used with the Service, or otherwise in connection with any provision of this Terms. 

Acknowledgment 

These are the Terms and Conditions  governing to use of this Service and the agreement that operates between you and Ellie Physiotherapy &Wellness. 

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to the Terms and Conditions, in whole or in part, you may not access or use our Service. Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
